Viva Las Vegas

I recently returned from the International Window Coverings Expo in Las Vegas. I found some great new vendors with products to help make your home more comfortable. For example sun can be a real problem. It fades fabric, furniture and floors, puts a glare on the tv and heats up your room. I found a great source for motorized solar shades that have a much longer battery life. The shades can also operate manually if you misplace(!) the remote and you can do two shades together so you can have a solar shade to protect against the sun and another shade for night time privacy.

It's all in the details

I found a great new button detail to add to draperies or valances. It's a little something extra that adds interest to the treatment without adding a lot to the cost.
